Being born, growing up, and living in northern Chile, especially in Atacama, influenced my father to become a professor of mineralogy. My closest relatives were renowned explorers, not only at a national level, so our passion for minerals was a product of them finding us, more than we found them.

Although it all started as a hobby more than 25 years ago, for several years it has transformed into a small business, which goes beyond generating particular benefits, because our main objective is to support the mineralogical heritage, as we do as the main sponsor of the Atacama Mineralogical Foundation.
